Kilim a flat-woven carpet or rug made in India.Traditionally, the kilim is woven using the slit-weave technique, in which a number of wefts are woven around the last warp of a single color, leaving small vertical gaps or slits between two or more wefts of different colors.
kilim rug is handmade to the last detail using traditional, artisanal, sustainable, recycled, eco-friendly methods and materials including wool, cotton, jute and hemp. Each rug goes through an intimate process, endless tensile adjustments and takes approximately six weeks to make.
